Cancer isn't a threat, compliance is.
A non-medical opinion from someone who lived through both and chose to lead himself instead.
After my cancer operation, they handed me a cocktail of pain meds like it was candy.
Advil, Tylenol, and Codeine. Piles of them.
No questions asked.. Just: “Take these… you’ll need them.”
Then the doctor walks in smiling. Says everything “went well.”
But then the bloodwork came back.
My haemoglobin levels were through the roof.
The kind of numbers you’d expect in a 6’7” man.
I’m 6’3” and fresh out of surgery.
The haematologist looks me dead in the eye and says:
“You’re at high risk for stroke and cardiac failure. You need to be on blood thinners. Immediately.”
I broke.
I thought: You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.
I just endured cancer… now this?
But I didn’t take the thinners.
I didn’t accept the sentence.
I got my shit together.
I cleaned up my nutrition.
I rebuilt my sleep.
I corrected my posture.
I detoxed hard.
I fixed my light hygiene.
I honored my nervous system.
And today?
My haemoglobin is smack in the middle of the range.
No meds, no injections, and not a single synthetic crutch.
Just discipline and a healthy dose of skepticism.
Here’s what no doctor will tell you:
Most “chronic” markers aren’t permanent. They are signals.
Traffic lights from your body saying wake the hell up.
If you ignore them?
You medicate the message instead of changing direction.
I’ve been told many times: “You’ll need to manage this for life.”
And every single time, I proved them wrong.
Because the truth is this:
You don’t need more medication, you need more fucking ownership.

P.S.S.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again:
You don’t need more supplements, you need a strategy.
Otherwise, you’ll spend the next two years like a dog chasing it’s own tail, wasting a lot of time.
And you can’t afford that.
Time is your most precious asset right now.
And you and I both know, that the only way for you to buy it back, is by investing in your health.
